On Saturday, Crucian Gold sponsored a St Croix Environmental Association public snorkel clinic for Jump Up ‘Second Day.’ We had 66 snorkelers attend! With snorkel leaders like Dana August, Jennifer Travis, & Melanie Feltmate and lifeguard Amy Carter, there was no chaos during the 3 hour clinic – just fun for all! A big thank you to volunteer Emilie Marsh!
Experienced snorkelers went for a longer swim to see the large corals out from the sea wall, while beginners perused the shallow sea grass beds. Thank you Krystal Flores of VI Housing Parks & Rec for bringing 30 participants from the Learn to Swim Program.
